Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently made a strong message to Pakistan. Highlighting India’s military strength and the impact of the BrahMos missile on the operations. PM Modi’s Bold Response came after Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif publicly stated that Indian missiles had struck critical targets within Pakistan before they could even respond.
Operation Sindoor: India’s Retaliatory Strike
India initiated a powerful mission, Operation Sindoor against Pakistan’s missile and drone attacks on May 7. India’s Military had conducted targeted strikes on terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, including Lashkar-e-Taiba headquarters.
India launched many missiles, including the powerful missile BrahMos, on May 9 and 10 targeting specific targets like Pakistan’s Nur Khan Air Base and other military facilities. The attacks are said to have taken Pakistan’s military by surprise, compelling them to re-think their attack plans.
In a public address in Kanpur, PM Modi praised the Indian military for their daring move. He claimed that BrahMos had been causing Pakistan “sleepless nights” while highlighting the accuracy and effectiveness of the missile.
“We ventured into their (terrorists’) camps and shattered the dens of terror in Pakistan. Our Defence Forces were so bold that the Pakistan Army begged to end the war,” PM Modi declared, highlighting India’s focus on national security.
Pakistan’s Admission and International Reactions
Shehbaz Sharif, during his visit to Azerbaijan, accepted that India’s missile attack had foiled Pakistan’s plans for a counterattack. He conceded that the BrahMos missile salvo struck strategic Pakistani military installations, once again demonstrating Indian strategic superiority.
The world has watched these events with hawk-like attention, and experts suggest that India’s swift and strategic action has recalibrated regional security perceptions.
India’s Military Preparedness in the Future
PM Modi once again ensured that Operation Sindoor is an ongoing military exercise, and India is ready for the next attack. He also made sure that Pakistan should seriously act against cross-border terrorism before resuming diplomatic talks.
With BrahMos having put its mettle to the test, India keeps reinforcing its defense forces, with a strong message that aggression will never be accepted without stern retaliation.
