In a shocking incident that took place in Mumbai on July 3, 2025, the 14-year-old son of a famous TV actress committed suicide by jumping from the 57th floor of a high-rise building in Kandivali. The incident has sent shockwaves through the local community and beyond.

The teenager, a 9th-grade student, reportedly had an argument with his mother over going to tuition. According to police, the boy was not willing to attend the tuition session, which led to a heated argument between him and his mother. After the disagreement, the boy stormed out of the apartment and tragically jumped from the building.

A neighbor who witnessed the tragic event immediately informed the boy’s mother. Police arrived at the scene and, after preliminary investigations, confirmed that no foul play was involved. They registered the incident as an accidental death and have started probing the reasons behind the boy’s drastic decision.

The police also noted that the boy’s mother is the only parent living with him. She had separated from her husband and has been living with her son ever since. The TV actress, known for her roles in several Hindi and Gujarati serials, is now left to cope with the tragic loss of her only child.

Authorities are focusing on understanding the stress factors that might have led the boy to take such a drastic step. Interviews with the boy’s teachers, close family members, and friends are ongoing to investigate whether academic pressure or family circumstances contributed to his depression.
