Prime Minister Modi’s first response to the Pahalgam terror attack

Pahalgam terror attack: Everyone is aware of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday that claimed 28 lives. However, for the first time since the incident, Prime Minister Modi today responded to it. He said that India will identify those who carried out the terrorist attack and everyone who supported them. He said that they will be punished beyond anyone’s imagination. Modi said that this is not just an attack on tourists, but an attack on the entire country of India.


Pahalgam terror attack

28 tourists lost their lives in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. Gunmen in military uniforms targeted tourists, including men, and opened fire. The entire country was shocked by this incident. Prime Minister Modi, who was on a trip to Saudi Arabia, also returned immediately. He has already held discussions with the authorities and suggested that the accused be arrested. While all this was going well, Prime Minister Modi reacted to this incident for the first time. Expressing deep anger at the terrorists and their supporters, he said that they will be arrested soon. 

Terrorists created a deadly fire in the Baisaran Valley near Pahalgam, known as the Mini Switzerland of Jammu and Kashmir, on Tuesday. They came in military uniforms and surrounded the tourists at around 3 pm. They asked for their names and opened fire, targeting mainly Hindus and men. 28 people were killed and 20 injured in the incident . However, after the incident, the gunmen fled into the woods. After learning about the incident, Indian forces helped the injured. A fierce search is underway to catch the terrorists who fled.


Modi Responds

Especially after learning about this incident, Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to India before the end of his visit to Saudi Arabia. He held urgent meetings with the authorities and assured them that they would stand by the victims. Modi also instructed the authorities to arrest the accused soon. But so far, he has not spoken out about this incident. But he responded for the first time two days after the terrorist attack. The Prime Minister participated in a program organized in Madhubani, Bihar, on the occasion of National Panchayati Raj Day. Before his speech there, he paid tribute to the Pahalgam victims. Everyone present observed silence for a minute.

 

Then, talking about the attack, he said that the entire country stands by the families of the victims in this difficult time. He said that all possible help is being provided to the injured. modi also said that many people have lost their children and husbands due to this attack. PM described that there is pain and anger among all the people across the country. He described this as not just an attack on tourists, but an attack on India. He also revealed that he assures all Indians that the perpetrators of this attack and all those who supported them will be tracked down and punished. Modi said that the punishment that will be meted out to them will be beyond anyone’s imagination.

Prime Minister Modi explained that he will make every effort to ensure justice for all the victims and that the entire country is determined to deal with this catastrophic situation. He also strongly warned that 140 crore Indians will break the back of the terrorist groups together.
