The rocket failed to place the satellite in orbit. The launch ended without success. ISRO teams checked the systems to find out the reason for the issue.

ISRO Chairman S. Somanath said the mission was incomplete. He explained that experts are studying the data.ISRO Chairman promised a full report soon. He said ISRO will give clear information after the investigation.

EOS-09, also known as Risat-1B, is an Earth observation satellite. It provides high-quality images during day and night. It could work in cloudy weather and give clear pictures. The main purpose was to support border safety and military planning.

The satellite was important for national security. It could help detect movements near borders. It could also support rescue and relief during natural disasters.

PSLV rockets are known for reliable performance. ISRO has launched more than 50 PSLV missions. Most of them were successful. PSLV is often used to launch small and medium satellites. This failure is a rare event in the rocket’s history.
