Mr. Sarma claimed that when speaking with young people in his colony on March 16, 2025, he learned about the problem and discovered that a lot of people had wasted their hard-earned cash on gambling and betting apps that were recommended by celebrities. The case was booked under provisions 318(4), 112 read with 49 BNS and Section 3, 3(A), 4 of TS Gaming Act and Section (D) of IT Act.
Amidst, all the ongoing drama and chaos, this issue comes as a big question mark in front of all the people who are violating gambling laws and regulations.
