Ranveer Allahbadia Controversy: Ever since the name of famous YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia came up in the controversy. In the show ‘India’s Got Latent’, the legal noose has been tightening. However, Ranveer has not been able to contact the investigating agencies so far. Mumbai and Guwahati Police said in a joint statement that Ranveer is not in constant touch with the police nor has he given any indication of appearing before the investigating agencies.


What did the police say in the statement?

The police say that an FIR has been registered against Allahbadia by the Maharashtra Cyber ​​​​Department, Guwahati Police and Jaipur Police, but he has not yet contacted these agencies. All these police departments have sent a summons to Ranveer. Maharashtra Cyber ​​​​Department has ordered Ranveer to appear on February 24. Apart from Guwahati Police, Jaipur Police has also registered a case against Ranveer, but they have not been able to contact them yet. Mumbai and Guwahati police gave this information in their joint statement. At the same time, Maharashtra Cyber ​​​​Department said that it is investigating the whole matter, in which controversy had increased due to Ranveer’s controversial statement.

Samay Raina also ordered to appear

Apart from this, comedian Samay Raina was also ordered to appear before the cyber cell on February 18. The Commission for Women (NCW) has also started an investigation in this matter. And has sent a summons to Ranveer Allahabadia, Samay Raina and others. However, many of these people expressed their inability to appear before the commission and concerns were also raised about their safety. Some even expressed their inability to appear before the commission due to foreign travel.


The Women’s Commission said that Ranveer told the commission that he was receiving death threats. Hence he demanded a hearing date after three weeks. The commission has accepted his demand and fixed his hearing on 6th March 2025.
