He also warned that his government will not tolerate drug activities in the state. “We said from day one that anyone thinking of drugs in Telangana will be crushed,” he added. He stressed that schools and colleges must take responsibility and watch students’ behavior carefully. Managements should ensure their campuses are drug-free.
The Chief Minister stated, “68% of India’s population is youth. If they fall into the drug trap, our country’s future is at risk. Enemies of the country are using drugs as weapons. We must stay alert.”
He spoke about how drug abuse ruined Punjab’s youth and added, “We will not let the same happen in Telangana.”
To create more opportunities for the youth, Revanth Reddy announced new policies. “We brought a sports policy and started a Skills University to improve youth skills,” he said.
In the end, he urged everyone, “Let’s fight drugs together. Be the bridge to a drug-free society. Telangana should never become a land of drugs. Only when we stand united, we can make Telangana a model for the world.”
