Senior IPS Officer and Managing Director of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation VC Sajjanar is creating awareness on online betting apps. He urged the people to join the movement against betting. In his continuous efforts to curb the illegal betting, Sajjanar made this claim. These apps are spreading like wildfire and have adverse effects on individuals. Sajjanar was serious on influencers for promoting betting apps and shocked why Youtube channels interview them.


Sajjanar on X said,In the past few days while researching betting app promoters, I noticed something unusual—several well-known YouTube channels have [paid] interviewed these social media influencers as if they were doing a public service and projected them as heroes or heroines. I ask these channels to stop promoting such content and take down these interviews immediately, as they could have serious consequences. Act responsibly and #SayNoToBettingApps.

VC Sajjanar also requested influencers and celebrities to refrain from promoting these apps. In the urge to earn easy money, many people, especially the youth are destroying their lives.

The arrest of local boy Nani and social media influencer Bayya Sunny Yadav booked for promoting, brought awareness in influencers. Several influencers made videos regretting for promoting betting apps. Bandaru Sheshayani Supritha apologized for the same while wishing Holi to her followers.

Anvesh, travel vlogger, in a video said that he has been requesting these influencers to not promote these betting apps as they destroy lives and families. His rift with Bayya Sunny Yadav made to news some time back. Many cases have come to light recently where people amassed massive financial losses in these apps. Some have even taken their lives. People investing in betting apps must realize that easy money is a scam. Therefore, stay away from betting and invest your finances wisely.
