SC fires MP Vijay Shah for his remarks on Colonel Sophia

Colonel Sophia: It is well known that Madhya Pradesh Tribal Affairs Minister Vijay Shah made controversial comments on Colonel Sophia Qureshi, a woman officer who had given details about Operation Sindoor to the media. However, there has already been strong opposition across the country to the minister’s comments, and a case was registered against him on Wednesday as per the orders of the High Court. When the minister approached the Supreme Court on this issue, the bench that agreed to the inquiry found the minister’s behavior wrong. Supreme Court Slams Minister Vijay Shah

Everyone knows that Madhya Pradesh Minister Vijay Shah made controversial comments on Colonel Sophia Qureshi, a female officer who gave details about Operation Sindoor to the media. However, he has already received severe criticism from across the country. On Wednesday, a case was registered against the minister as per the orders of the High Court. When he approached the Supreme Court in this process,the minister agreed to hear the petition. Also, she was furious. She was told not to go and apologize in the High Court first, and to be a little more sensitive in such matters.

Everyone knows about Colonel Sophia Qureshi,who revealed details about Operation Sindoor to the media . However, for the first time in the history of India, she made a record as the first female officer to give a briefing on a military operation, the entire country was interested in knowing about her. Knowing who she was and what she had done for the country, they saluted her. But Madhya Pradesh Tribal Welfare Minister Vijay Shah made controversial comments about Colonel Sophia Qureshi, calling her the sister of terrorists.

The video related to this went viral on the internet. The minister was criticized across the country. They demanded that he be removed from the post of minister as he was wrong to speak like this. The National Commission for Women also expressed deep anger over this. It said that it was unfortunate to make such comments against women in responsible positions. In this context, the High Court responded on Wednesday and took the case suo moto. A bench comprising Justice Atul Sreedharan and Justice Anuradha Shukla ordered the police to register an FIR against him for promoting enmity and hatred. They told the state DGP to register an FIR and report it to them.

Thus, the police registered a case against Minister Vijay Shah. During the hearing of this case, the judges said that the only organization in the country that is still full of integrity, discipline, sacrifice, selflessness, honor, and invincible courage is the army. On the other hand, the minister approached the Supreme Court on the orders of the High Court. However, the court agreed to hear his petition on Friday. Moreover, it found his behavior wrong. It was angry about what kind of words he was saying. It commented that he should go ahead and apologize in the High Court. It also expressed anger that he should not be a little sensitive in such matters.
