Result Season Anxiety: Exams have finished. Now the result season has started. Many students are feeling anxious. The AP Inter results will be declared on Saturday. Students who score low marks should not make hasty or emotional decisions. Experts are advising students to stay calm and think clearly.
Marks Are Not Everything
Dr. Gopal, a mental health doctor, said that exams are only one part of life. Low marks do not mean failure in life. Even if someone fails, they can still achieve great success. He shared the example of Sachin Tendulkar. He failed in Class 10 but became one of the world’s top cricketers. Students must understand that their future is not based only on marks.
Support Is Just a Call Away with Tele-MANAS
The Indian government started Tele-MANAS to support students’ mental health. It stands for Tele Mental Health Assistance and Networking Across States. Students can call 14416 or 1800 8914416. These are free helpline numbers. Students facing stress, family issues, or negative thoughts can talk to counselors.
How the Service Works
When students call, they can choose their preferred language. A trained counselor listens and gives support. If needed, a doctor or psychiatrist joins the call. In serious cases, a local medical team may visit the student. This service is helpful during the result season.
