South Central Railway to Run 44 Summer Weekly Special Trains

Summer Special Trains:

To handle the heavy passenger rush during summer, South Central Railway has announced the operation of 44 weekly special trains from June 1 to July 31, 2025. This move is aimed at providing relief to passengers traveling between key cities in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka.

Summer Special Trains:

The special trains will run on specific days of the week and cover popular routes such as Visakhapatnam, Bengaluru, Tirupati, and Cherlapalli. These trains will offer additional travel options during the summer vacation period, helping ease congestion on regular trains.

Key Train Services:

SMVT Bengaluru–Visakhapatnam (Train No. 08582): 5 trains will operate on Mondays from June 2 to June 30.

Visakhapatnam–Tirupati (Train No. 08547): 9 trains will run on Wednesdays from June 4 to July 30.

These trains are being introduced to accommodate the large number of passengers traveling during the summer months for holidays, pilgrimages, and family visits. Tickets can be booked online or at railway reservation counters.

Passengers are advised to check exact timings and stops from the official South Central Railway website or IRCTC portal before planning their journey.

This initiative reflects the railways’ commitment to improving travel convenience during peak seasons. The additional trains will also reduce crowding in regular services, ensuring a safer and more comfortable journey for passengers.
