Sri Rama Navami 2025: Bhadrachalam is ready for the grand Sri Rama Navami celebrations. Devotees from across Telangana are heading to the temple town to witness the divine Sitarama Kalyanam. The temple authorities and local administration have made all necessary arrangements to ensure smooth celebrations. Special RTC bus services from Rajahmundry are also available for devotees.
The sacred Sitarama Kalyanam will be performed on April 6 at the famous Bhadrachalam temple. To help devotees reach the temple town, RTC has arranged eight additional buses from Rajahmundry depot. These buses will depart from the Rajahmundry bus stand on Saturday. Officials expect a huge turnout, so extra buses may be introduced based on demand.
RTC depot manager S.K. Shabnam announced the schedule for the special services. The first bus will leave Rajahmundry at 12:15 PM. From 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, one bus will depart every hour. After the Kalyanam, return buses will start at 1:00 PM on Sunday. Devotees can use these services to ensure a comfortable journey.
Rajahmundry already operates ten express buses to Bhadrachalam daily. Nine buses travel via Kukunoor, while one takes the Maredumilli route. In addition to these, eight more buses have been introduced for the festival. The special services will follow regular ticket charges, and passengers can book their seats online. RTC officials have assured that enough buses will be available to accommodate the heavy rush.
The temple administration has made elaborate arrangements for the festival. After the Edurkolu Utsavam, the priests will carry the main deity on a grand procession around the temple streets. Devotees join the procession, chanting bhajans and hymns. Spiritual energy fills the temple town as the celebrations continue throughout the night.
