Sushant Singh Rajput Case: Bollywood’s late actor Sushant Singh Rajput is back in the news. Nearly half a decade after the actor’s death, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed its closure report in a Mumbai court. In this report, the agency has rejected the conspiracies and rumours related to the case. Citing suicide as the cause of the late actor’s death. Along with this, Rhea Chakraborty and her family have been given a clean chit. The CBI filed the closure report in the court on Saturday, on which now the reaction of Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer has come out.
According to a Times Now report, lawyer Satish Maneshinde. He was who represented Rhea Chakraborty in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. He said on the CBI’s closure report, ‘We are grateful to the CBI for their thorough investigation of every aspect of the case from all angles. Now the matter is closed. Condemning the setting of a wrong narrative in the late actor’s death case, he said, ‘The number of false narratives in social media and electronic media was unnecessary.’
Lawyer Satish Maneshinde further said, ‘Because of the Covid epidemic, everyone was glued to TV and social media. In the absence of any major developments at that time. Innocent people were harassed and paraded in front of the media and investigating officers. Talking to Rhea Chakraborty, Maneshinde said, ‘I want to salute her and her family for silently tolerating the inhumane treatment against them.’
Let us tell you that in the closure report of the CBI filed in the Mumbai court on Saturday. It has been said that Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide. They were not forced in any way. A criminal angle or ‘foul play’ (conspiracy) has not emerged in the investigation. The forensic team of AIIMS has ruled out any possibility of murder. Significantly, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his flat in Bandra on 14 June 2020.
