Bird flu is once again causing a stir in Telangana. Thousands of chickens are dying in Sangareddy and Medak districts. This has caused concern among the people of the respective districts. After receiving the information, the veterinary officials sent the dead chickens to the Hyderabad lab for tests.


About the issue

Bird flu has been causing a stir in AP and Telangana for the past few days. The first case came to the limelight in West Godavari districts of AP, where lakhs of chickens died. Chickens have also died in several poultry farms in Telangana. The first bird flu case has also been registered in Yadadri district.

Recently, bird flu has caused a stir in Sangareddy and Medak districts. Thousands of chickens are dying in these two districts. More than seven thousand chickens died in a poultry farm near Bommareddygudem in Chautakur mandal of Sangareddy district within three days.


In a chicken farm in Nayini Jalalpur, Kolcharam mandal, Medak district, more than a thousand chickens have suddenly lost their lives in the last two days. The discussion that thousands of chickens died due to bird flu is creating a stir locally. The owners of the poultry farms have informed the veterinary authorities. The officials who examined the dead chickens have sent some to the Hyderabad lab for tests. However, the clear reason for the death of the chickens has not been revealed yet.

The reason?

Officials say that the reasons for the death of the chickens will be known after the reports come. Meanwhile, veterinarians are advising people in these areas to be vigilant. They are advising that chicken should be eaten only after being cooked at 100 degrees Celsius.
Chicken shops, which have been bustling for a month due to the bird flu scare, were a bit busy on Sunday. With the bird flu scare just now subsiding, people are ready to eat chicken. Chicken sales increased slightly on Sunday. As officials say that eating overcooked chicken does not have any side effects, chicken lovers are buying chicken. Chicken shops were crowded in many areas including Hyderabad city. Traders say that sales have increased by 50 percent compared to last week. They say that eating chicken cooked at the right temperature without believing any rumors will not cause any harm. Traders are hopeful that business will pick up after getting fully prepared for the coming week.
