Telangana: Key Update on New Airport: The Revanth Reddy government is preparing to announce another good news to the people of Telangana. CM Revanth Reddy announced that he will take the responsibility of setting up a new airport in Adilabad. He said that in the first phase, an airport was brought to Warangal, and in the second phase, an airport will be brought to Adilabad.
So far, there is only one airport in the state. While only the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is available in Shamshabad, Hyderabad, it is known that the Center has now given the green signal to the new Mamunur Airport in Warangal. In this regard, the Revanth Reddy government has also started the land acquisition process. Meanwhile, CM Revanth Reddy made another key announcement in the Assembly.
As part of the ongoing Assembly sessions on Saturday (March 15), while replying to a BJP MLA in the House, Revanth Reddy made a key announcement. CM Revanth Reddy said that an airport will also be brought to Adilabad. Revanth Reddy made it clear that he is responsible for bringing it. First, an airport was brought to Warangal, in the second phase, he will talk to the Center and take the responsibility of bringing an airport to Adilabad, Revanth Reddy announced in the Assembly. To this extent, he said that instructions have been issued to the officials to take the details suggested by the BJP MLA.
Revanth Reddy said that the construction of an airport in Adilabad will not only contribute to the development of that district but also to the progress of the state. He said that the government will undertake this project with great ambition. Revanth Reddy said that the government will provide all possible assistance to the Adilabad airport. If the opposition parties also come forward and cooperate for the development of Adilabad, another great step will be taken in the development of the state, said CM Revanth Reddy.
With the green signal from the center regarding the Mamunur Airport to be built in Warangal, the state government has focused on land acquisition. CM Revanth Reddy has issued instructions to the officials to complete the land acquisition process as soon as possible and send it for design. CM Revanth Reddy has also ordered that the airport construction be reviewed from time to time and a progress report be submitted to him every month.
