Telangana Photography Contest 2025:
Telangana is promoting its rich culture, traditions, and heritage through an exciting photography and videography contest. The Tourism Development Corporation of Telangana has announced cash awards for those who capture the essence of the state’s vibrant culture and natural beauty.
The Tourism Development Corporation, headed by Managing Director Vallaruri Kranti, has set up a contest aimed at showcasing the state’s diverse culture and traditions. Participants can submit photographs or videos that reflect Telangana’s rural life, natural landscapes, historical landmarks, festivals and traditional occupations. These entries will be used in the upcoming Tourism Conclave which is set to take place in Hyderabad in August.
The contest offers attractive cash prizes for both photographers and videographers. For videographers, the first-place winner will receive a cash prize of ₹10,000, the second-place winner will receive ₹5,000, and the third-place winner will receive ₹3,000. Photographers will also be rewarded for their best work, with the first-place winner getting ₹4,000, the second-place winner receiving ₹3,000, and the third-place winner being awarded ₹2,000.

The contest encourages participants to focus on various aspects of Telangana’s culture. This includes capturing the essence of rural life, the picturesque natural beauty of the state, historical monuments, cultural festivals, and traditional professions like weaving, pottery, and agriculture. Through these photographs and videos, the government aims to highlight the diverse heritage of the region.
Those interested in participating in this contest are encouraged to submit their entries by July 27.
