Telangana Rain: Yellow Alert Issued for Next Three Days

Telangana Rain: The Hyderabad Meteorological Center officials have issued a rain alert for Telangana. They said that light to moderate rains are likely in the state for the next three days. While the effect of the southwest monsoon is already being felt in the state, rains have started in several districts. On Monday (June 9), strong gusty winds with a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour are likely to occur at many places, the Meteorological Department said.


Yellow Alert To THESE Areas

Due to this, there is a chance of moderate rains in Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, Jogulamba and Gadwal districts. On Tuesday (June 10), there are indications of rains in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Ranga Reddy, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, Jogulamba and Gadwal districts . To this extent, a yellow alert has been issued for the respective districts.

Several districts have received rains in the last 24 hours. Light to moderate rains were recorded in several districts including Medak, Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Ranga Reddy, Wanaparthy, Jogulamba Gadwal and Warangal, according to the TGDPS (Telangana State Development Planning Society). The southwest monsoon, which usually enters Telangana in the first week of June, entered the state a little earlier this time. As a result, the daytime temperatures decreased in the last week of May and the weather cooled down.


Telangana Rain: Heavy wind and lightning expected

But since then, people have been suffocating due to high temperatures for the past few days. People are suffering from record-breaking temperatures and heatstroke. In this context, people will get relief with the latest rain alert. However, they have warned that there is a chance of heavy winds and lightning along with the rains. They have advised people to go out only if it is an emergency during the rains.
