Center Urges States to Tighten Security

Intelligence agencies have warned of the possibility of terrorist attacks in the country. They have said that Pakistan-inspired terrorists may carry out attacks. In this context, the Railways have been alerted. They have warned that attacks may be carried out with drones and IEDs. They have stated that terrorists may infiltrate through sea and river routes. It is noteworthy that these warnings have come at a time when Mumbai 26/11 terror attack conspirator Tahawwur Rana has been brought to India from the US for questioning.

Intelligence sources have warned that terrorists from Pakistan may infiltrate the country and carry out attacks. The Railways have been alerted and said that attacks are likely to be carried out through drones and IEDs. During the 26/11 attacks. 10 Pakistani terrorists entered Mumbai by sea. Terror Attack Alert: What happened so far?

A large number of weapons and explosives, including one AK and one M4 rifle, were recovered,’ the White Knight Corps posted on X. A major operation is underway to nab the terrorists who infiltrated into Kathua district from the international border last month. On March 28, four police personnel lost their lives in an encounter in Kathua, while two terrorists were killed.

 

For a year, Kathua has become a major infiltration route for Pakistani terrorists to reach Kashmir from the highlands of Udhampur, Doda, and Kishtwar districts.
