The news that TGS RTC is a boon for bus passengers has been heard. Since the Revanth Reddy government came to power, it has implemented a free travel scheme for all women in Telangana, which has brought huge relief to them. But, men are facing various problems such as not getting seats and quarreling with passengers and, with the conductors. In this context, they have not done anything to provide special buses or allocate special seats for men. But now, they have brought a way to put an end to the small panchayats which have become a big problem.
Yes, UPI payments are being made available in buses. However, TGS RTC, which has already introduced this UPI payment system in AC and sleeper buses has now decided to make this system available in city buses running in Hyderabad city as well.
Currently UPI payments are being made everywhere. From big shopping malls to buying even coriander on the roadside it is as simple as scanning a QR code to make a payment.
Telangana government, considering the difficulties faced by passengers and conductors, has taken this key decision. It has decided to implement the UPI payment system and buy tickets in city RTC buses as well.
With this decision taken by the government, everyone is hoping that the petty disputes between passengers and conductors will no longer exist. However, from now on, a QR code scanner will be made available to passengers in every city bus. TGS RTC will provide the convenience of scanning the QR code and paying through UPI to get a ticket. RTC has introduced an online ticketing system as part of the automatic fare collection system. However, the TGS RTC management says that more online services will be made available soon for the convenience of passengers.
