Thailand Opal Suchata Wins Miss World 2025; India’s Nandini Gupta in Top 20

Opal Suchata Wins Miss World 2025:


Opal Suchata Chuangsri from Thailand has been crowned Miss World 2025. The prestigious event was held on May 31, 2025, at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Telangana, India. She received the crown from Miss World 2024, Krystyna Pyszkova of the Czech Republic.

Opal Suchata Wins Miss World 2025:

Opal, a student of international relations and a professional model, stood out among 108 contestants from across the globe. The first runner-up was Ethiopia’s Hasset Dereje, while Poland’s Maja Klajda took the second runner-up position. Aurlie Joachim from Martinique also reached the top four.


India was represented by Nandini Gupta, who impressed everyone with her performance and made it to the top 20.

The event was hosted by former Miss World 2016 Stephanie Del Valle, who wore a traditional Indian lehenga, and Indian presenter Sachiin Kumbhar. The finale also featured special performances by Bollywood stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Ishaan Khatter.

The judging panel included actor Sonu Sood, who was honored with the Miss World Humanitarian Award. Other notable judges were Sudha Reddy, the 2025 Global Ambassador for Beauty With a Purpose, and Dr. Caryna Turrell, a former Miss England and public health expert from the University of Cambridge. Krystyna Pyszkova and Julia Morley CBE, Chairwoman of Miss World, also participated in the final selection.

Several Indian celebrities graced the event, including former Miss World Manushi Chhillar, actor Rana Daggubati, and actress Namrata Shirodkar. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and actor-politician Chiranjeevi were also present.

This marks the second year in a row that India hosted the Miss World pageant. Last year, the event took place in Mumbai, where Krystyna Pyszkova was crowned.

The Miss World 2025 finale not only celebrated beauty but also emphasized talent, humanitarian work, and cultural unity.
