The Minister Response: After a child requests biryani in Anganwadi

When a video of a boy named Shanku asking for biryani for Anganwadi meals went viral, Kerala’s Health Minister Veena George replied. In response to Shanku’s naive request, which struck a chord with many social media users, the government intends to revise the menu in order to guarantee better nutrition for kids. Social media users are sharing a video of a little Keralan child asking to be served biryani at Anganwadi. According to the little boy in the video, his Anganwadi should serve chicken fries and biryani rather than upma. The video, which was posted by his mother, showed the little child Rijul S. Sundar, affectionately known as Shanku, eating biryani. At Shanku’s request, his mother promises to obtain biryani and chicken fries from the authorities.

Kerala’s Health Minister, Veena George, has responded to this video. The minister declared that the state government has chosen to evaluate the menu for Anganwadi kids and posted a video of a young boy named Shanku on Facebook. She stated that in response to Shanku’s request, the Anganwadi’s food menu will be changed.

An example of a child’s innocence is Shanku’s demand. At Anganwadis, a variety of foods are offered to make sure that kids are getting the right nourishment. A program to supply milk and eggs to children at Anganwadis was implemented by the government during the present administration. The outcome has been positive. With the Women and Child Development Department’s assistance, local organizations are independently serving a variety of foods in Anganwadis, George stated.

Several social media users shared the young boy’s naive request, and the video has received over 3.5 million views on Instagram. The reply from one user said, “A legitimate requirement.”

“Sir, he is not alone. “The uncles who are anticipating that Uppumavu will be at home,” another person commented.
