‘Time’s’ most influential leaders list: Includes Trump, Musk &more

Influential leaders: Some people influence many people in their chosen field and become role models for society. The famous American magazine -Time magazine identifies such influential leaders around the world and prepares a list. This year, this list, which is prepared with 100 people, includes the US President, the world’s richest man, the UK Prime Minister, etc.

No Indians made it to the list

However, it is noteworthy that not a single Indian is on it. Last year, two people made it to this list. The popular magazine Time annually compiles a list of the 100 most influential people who have succeeded in their chosen field and become guides for many. This year’s list includes many celebrities from around the world, from Donald Trump, whotook office as the second president of the United States, to Bangladesh’s interim government leader and Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus to Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

However, it is surprising that no one from India is on the list. Indians have made it to the list several times in the past. In 2024, Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt and Olympic medalist wrestler Sakshi Malik were on the list.

‘Time’s’ most influential leaders categories

Time magazine has divided the list into categories like ‘Leaders’, ‘Icons’ and ‘Titans’. However, this year, Indian-American Reshma Kewalaramani has been named in the ‘Leaders’ category. She is the CEO of Vertex Pharmaceuticals in the US. Reshma migrated to the superpower from India with her parents at the age of 11. She is the first woman to be appointed as the CEO of a large public biotechnology company in the US.

More about Reshma Kewalaramani?

Writing a profile on Reshma Kevalaramani in Time magazine, author Jason Kelly said, “Reshma is a member of my board (of Ginkgo Bioworks). Her advice has been invaluable. She has immense knowledge in navigating the drug approval process while pushing the boundaries of science.
