Tirumala Divya Darshan Tokens:

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has taken an important step to help devotees coming by foot to visit Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala. Tirumala authorities will shift the Divya Darshan token counters from the footpath route to the Bhudevi Complex at Alipiri starting June 6. They took this decision to manage the heavy crowd expected after the summer holidays.

Tirumala Divya Darshan Tokens:

Every day, thousands of devotees walk through the Alipiri and Srivari Mettu footpaths to reach Tirumala for the darshan (visit) of Lord Venkateswara. The large number of visitors pushed the queue lines beyond the compartments. The Sarva Darshan waiting time reached 12 hours. To avoid any inconvenience, the TTD is making all arrangements.

TTD officials confirmed that they will start issuing Divya Darshan tokens at the Bhudevi Complex from the evening of June 6. They will distribute the tokens on a first-come, first-served basis. Devotees must show their Aadhaar card to receive a token. After receiving the token, they need to scan it at the 1200th step on the footpath. Devotees must follow the instructions to proceed for the darshan.

This is a temporary change. The TTD Executive Officer (EO), Shyamal Rao, held a virtual meeting with officials. He gave clear instructions to make sure there are no problems for the devotees. He reviewed the crowd situation and asked the team to ensure smooth operations.

The Bhudevi Complex counters will issue Divya Darshan and Sarva Darshan tokens. TTD requested all devotees to follow the new instructions and cooperate.

This new arrangement will help manage the crowd better and offer a more comfortable experience to devotees walking up to Tirumala.
