iPhone Safety Viral Video: Younes Zarou, a German influencer, just carried out an odd but eye-opening experiment to test India’s safety image. Zarou secretly recorded what transpired after setting an iPhone on a packed bench in a local market while visiting Kerala.
Around 4:30 p.m., he started to leave and watched from a concealed location as scores of individuals went past. Even though the iPhone was a costly gadget by local standards, many people looked at it, but nobody tried to take it or move it. After more than an hour, the gadget remained unaffected until approximately 6 p.m., at which point Zarou concluded the experiment and showed the camera the undamaged iPhone.
The Instagram video was only uploaded two days ago, but already has over 40 million views, demonstrating its viral power. Reactions from viewers have been divided; some have hailed it as evidence of the nation’s security, while others are still dubious. As one user noted, “If you maintain a large tripod and camera in front of you… Then your phone won’t be stolen. I do not doubt that this video would not have appeared if your phone had been stolen.

The wise words of another commenter were, “Don’t try this in Bihar.” Zarou had already encountered interest in India. He was briefly arrested by Bengaluru Police earlier this month for filming on Church Street without the required public-event permit.
Zarou, who first gained popularity on TikTok in 2019 for his imaginative illusion videos, is still a topic of discussion, even if it’s just to see how a country reacts when trust is betrayed.
