Trump and Putin to Discuss Ending Russia-Ukraine War: US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin will talk on Tuesday to find a solution to the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war. This discussion on tomorrow has gained significance after a not-so-fruitful meeting between Trump and Zelenskyy happened a few days back in the White House. The whole world is curious to know what Trump and Putin will talk about and end the war.
The Russia-Ukraine war was one of the key factors Donald Trump repeatedly said during his presidential election campaign. He used this war to blame Joe Biden and his administration. He constantly emphasized ending the war as soon as he took charge. Trump even proposed his approach to resolving the war. Ever since he took office in January 2025, he has tried consistently to stop the war. Taking it one step further, Trump and Putin will talk on Tuesday to put an end to the ongoing war.
Although the expansion of war between the two nations started in 2014, it reached its peak when Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022. Trump met Ukraine’s president Zelenskyy in his office but the meeting wasn’t productive. Trump ordered Zelenskyy to stop the war or face the consequences. He warned him about the destruction caused so far. While it didn’t go well with Zelenskyy, he amassed support from most European countries.
Earlier, Trump warned Russia and Ukraine to end the war or it will face the wrath of the US. However, he often suggested that Zelenskyy should have surrendered to Russia because Russia always wins the war.
