Visa-Free Countries: Traveling abroad can be an exciting experience but visa processes can sometimes be complicated. However, many countries now offer visa free entry or visa-on-arrival facilities for Indian passport holders making travel easier. Here are some destinations where Indians can visit without the hassle of a prior visa.


1. United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Indian passport holders with a valid US, UK, or EU visa/residence permit can get a 14-day visa on arrival in the UAE. This visa can be extended for another 14 days making it a great option for last minute trips. A 60 day visa is also available but it cannot be extended. Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months from the travel date.

2. Indonesia

Indonesia has simplified its visa-on-arrival (e-VoA) system for Indian travelers. Tourists can now apply online before their trip, reducing airport wait times. This visa is valid for 30 days and can be extended once. Popular tourist spots like Bali, Ubud rice fields and Jakarta nightlife make Indonesia an attractive destination. The e-VoA fee is ₹2,646 and the VFS Global service fee is ₹1,217.


3. Philippines

The Philippines recently launched an e-visa system for Indian travelers. Applications can be submitted at Philippine embassies and consulates in India. The country aims to attract 50 million tourists by 2030. Visa fees are ₹3,520 for a single-entry visa and ₹7,040 for a multiple entry visa. With stunning beaches, vibrant cities and delicious cuisine, the Philippines is a great travel destination.

4. South Africa

South Africa has introduced a new Trusted Tour Operator Scheme (TTOS), making visa approvals faster for Indian travelers. This means Indian tourists can visit the country without long visa processing times. Additionally direct flights from India to South Africa will soon be available. If you love wildlife visiting Kruger National Park to see the Big Five is a must.5. Israel

Indian travelers can now apply for an e-visa to visit Israel. The visa is valid for up to 90 days, and the fee is 100 NIS (₹2,422.05). Popular attractions include Jerusalem, the Dead Sea, and Tel Aviv’s beaches.
