NCW Questions Ranveer Allahbadia and Apoorva Mukhija


Popular YouTubers Ranveer Allahbadia and Apoorva Mukhija appear before the National Commission of Women (NCW) today. NCW questioned them for several hours. Both content creators admitted their mistakes and expressed deep regrets over their lewd remarks. NCW officials confirmed that both YouTubers have admitted their mistake and promised to never use inappropriate and indecent language on public platforms in the future.

YouTubers Submit Written Apologies


Ranveer Allahbadia, aka Beer Biceps and Apoorva Mukhija were embroiled in a massive controversy after they appeared on one of Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent episodes. They made derogatory comments about participants, women, and parental intimacy. After appearing before the NCW, both influencers submitted written apologies to NCW panel Chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar. NCW also questioned India Got Latent show producers Saurabh Bothra and Tushar Poojari.

NCW Adresses Press

Vijaya Rahatkar, the new NCW Chairperson, addressed a press conference on Friday and informed that both content creators admitted their indiscretion and assured to use the platforms more responsibly. The use of inappropriate language is not acceptable,” the NCW chief said answering a query. Ranveer Allahbadia said, “This is the first and last time such a mistake has happened. Furthermore, he commented, “From now on, I will think carefully and speak with respect toward women.”

Cases Filed, SC grants Interim Protection from Arrest

Several cases were registered against Beer Biceps, and Apoorva Mukhija, the Rebel Kid, after their offensive comments went viral on social media. There was massive outrage by many people, and some of them even called for their arrest. Supreme Court recently granted him interim protection from arrest and permitted him to continue with his podcasts. However, the SC termed his remarks “vulgar” and said he had a “dirty mind” that shamed society.

Celebrities Need Sense

The case of Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, and Apoorva Mukhija is a reminder that Influencers must remain responsible and refrain from making indecent comments on sensitive issues
