Early Life and Education

Opal was born on September 30, 2003, in Phuket, Thailand. She grew up in a family that owns hotels. Opal studied at Kajonkietsuksa School and Triam Udom Suksa School, where she developed good communication skills. She speaks three languages fluently — Thai, English, and Chinese. Currently, she is studying International Relations and hopes to become an ambassador one day. She is also interested in psychology and anthropology.

Her Special Talents

Apart from her studies, Opal has a unique talent — she can play the ukulele backwards! She also loves animals and has several pet dogs and cats. This shows her caring nature and diverse interests.

Winning Miss World 2025

On June 1, 2025, Opal was crowned Miss World 2025 in Hyderabad, India. This win was historic because she is the first woman from Thailand to get this title. Opal says, “I always believe that no matter who you are and no matter how old you are, no matter what title you hold in your life, there is always a person next to you — whether it’s a child, whether it’s an adult, it could even be your own parents — that look up to you in a way.” She believes in leading by example and with kindness.

Her Breast Cancer Campaign

At just 16 years old, Opal started a campaign called “Opal For Her” to promote breast cancer awareness. This campaign was inspired by her own experience when she found a benign lump in her breast and had to have surgery. Because of this, she wants to teach women the importance of early detection and good health care. This campaign was part of her “Beauty with a Purpose” project during the Miss World competition.

Opal told the judges, “I believe that with the Miss World title, in the future, I could definitely make more impact and also help other projects that are in need.” Her main goal is to help people live healthier lives and be aware of health issues.

What Success Means to Opal

For Opal, success is not just about winning titles or fame. She says, “Success means to live your life and to create a life that’s better for people around you as well.” This shows her humble and thoughtful personality.

Previous Achievements

Before winning Miss World, Opal also participated in Miss Universe 2024, where she finished as the third runner-up. She received the “Voice for Change—Silver” award for her efforts in promoting positive changes in society.
