Hyderabad Airport: A woman was detained by immigration officials at Hyderabad Airport, and a travel agent was arrested by Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) police for falsely promising to set up a job in Muscat. When the woman gave contradictory answers about why she was traveling, the officials became suspicious.

Ongoing Investigation:
Immigration officers at the Hyderabad airport discovered that the woman’s answers were erratic and her documentation was lacking. More questioning was done as suspicion increased. She is from the West Godavari district, and during the interrogation, it was disclosed that she was contacted by Satyanarayana, a travel agency, who assured her of a job in Muscat. The woman further disclosed that she took the train from Warangal to Hyderabad, where she was met by the agent.

Traveler Responses:
The woman reportedly revealed that the agent gave her instructions on how to respond to airport immigration officials. According to reports, she was requested to disclose to authorities that she was on a tourist trip. The RGIA police located the travel agent and took him into custody after learning all the information. It was discovered throughout the inquiry that he is connected to another case.
