World’s Strongest Passports 2025: Top 10 List Revealed


World’s Strongest Passports 2025: Which passports are the strongest in the world in 2025? Where does India’s passport stand on the list? Did you know that the two biggest economies in the world, the United States and China, are not in the top five? In fact, neither India nor China appears in the top 50. The Henley Passport Index ranks passports based on how many countries allow visa-free travel. Here’s the latest list for 2025:

Top 10 Strongest Passports in 2025


1. Singapore – Ranked number one with a visa-free score of 193 countries.

2. Japan & South Korea – Share second place with access to 190 countries.

3. Finland, Denmark, Germany, France, Italy, Ireland, and Spain – All tie for third place with access to 189 countries.

4. Sweden, Austria, Portugal, Belgium, Norway, Luxembourg, Netherlands – These seven countries share fourth place with 188 countries.

5. Switzerland, New Zealand, Greece – Fifth rank with 187 countries.

6. United Kingdom (UK) – Holds sixth place with access to 186 countries.

7. Poland, Australia, Malta, Czechia, Hungary – Share seventh place with 185 countries.

8. Canada, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Estonia – Rank eighth with 184 countries.

9. Slovenia, Croatia, Slovakia, Latvia – Ninth position with 183 countries.

10. United States, Iceland, Lithuania – Tenth position with 182 countries.

Where Does India Rank in Strongest Passports 2025?

India does not appear in the top 50 but has shown steady improvement over the years. In 2025, India ranks 76th on the Henley Passport Index. Indian passport holders can now travel to 58 countries visa-free.
