Yalda Hakim fact checks Pakistan Minister on Live

Yalda Hakim: Pakistan’s Information and Broadcasting Minister Attaullah Tarar was questioned live on television by Sky News anchor Yalda Hakim, only hours after India launched cross-border attacks on terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK).

Live Questioning to Pakistan Minister:

Following Operation Sindoor, in which the Indian military struck nine terror-related locations early on Wednesday, Tarar accused India of bombing civilian areas during his appearance on Sky News. However, Hakim promptly refuted his assertion. “The Indian armed forces have said that they only targeted terrorist camps and not Pakistani military facilities,” she stated. “Let me be clear: there are no terrorist camps in Pakistan,” Tarar responded. The victim of terrorism is Pakistan. In the fight against terrorism, we are the front-line state.

Hakim Response:

Hakim quickly retaliated, citing remarks made by previous leaders and Pakistan’s own defense minister. “On my programme, just a week ago, your Defence Minister Khawaja Asif admitted that Pakistan has for decades had a policy of funding, backing, and using terrorist groups as proxies in the country,” Hakim stated. “In 2018, President Donald Trump cut military aid to Pakistan because he accused Pakistan of playing a double game.” She went on, “So when you say there’re no terrorist camps in Pakistan, that is going against what Gen Parvez Musharraf said, what Benazir Bhutto said, and what your defence minister said just a week ago.”

Take A look At The Video:

“Pakistan is the guarantor of world peace,” he said, unable to reply, and even extended an invitation to Hakim to come to Pakistan. In a firm reply, Hakim said, “I have visited Pakistan. We also know that Osama Bin Laden was found in Pakistan’s Abbottabad.

Operation Sindoor:

Senior Indian authorities described Operation Sindoor as a calibrated and non-escalating response to the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, which killed 26 civilians, including one Nepali national. In its statement, New Delhi emphasized, “We have carried out our actions in a focused, measured, and non-escalatory manner.” India has deliberately avoided striking Pakistani military installations and has exercised significant prudence in both target selection and execution strategy.

There a large number of terrorists are trained also serves as the ideological hub of LeT.
