YSRCP Alleges Huge Lapses in YS Jagan Security

YSRCP alleged that it found serious lapses in YS Jagan’s security during his visit to Guntur Mirchi Market Yard recently. It said police personnel’s absence at the yard could harm his safety. The party said that this is a serious concern for YS Jagan’s safety and said that the Andhra Pradesh government should not indulge in such cheap tactics. It also highlighted some concerns, including, worn-out bulletproof vehicles, bringing down security, and complete negligence in deploying security personnel during visits.

YSRCP released an official statement condemning the removal of security personnel for YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the former CM. It alleged that the current Andhra Pradesh government has deliberately reduced security and created safety lapses for its chief.

YSRCP senior leader and Guntur District President Ambati Rambabu said, “Despite Z+ category security, the police showed complete negligence. No police personnel were visible near the Guntur Mirchi Market Yard. This is a deliberate conspiracy to create security issues for YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.” YSRCP strongly condemns the government’s approach”, he added. AP police reacted that Jagan’s visit had no permission from the Election Commission (EC).

Recently YS Jagan visited Vallabhaneni Vamsi in jail, arrested for kidnap. YS Jagan spoke to the media and said that the Chandrababu Naidu government is misusing all institutions in framing fabricated false cases. Jagan called the arrest of former Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan a fabricated case and illegal. He said that the law and order in the State is deteriorating. He told police not to be a puppet in the hands of politicians and that he would not spare them when they come into power. “Adhere to the law, and do not play to your political bosses. You will face consequences in the days to come. We will parade officials and leaders who resort to unlawful activities and do injustice soon after coming to power”, Jagan added.

With Vallabhaneni Vamsimohan’s arrest and MLC elections, Andhra Pradesh politics are only getting intensified. While the opposition calls it a political vendetta, the government says it is committed to prevailing law and order.
