BLACKPINK’s idol Rose recently made her much anticipated comeback with a single titled APT featuring Bruno Mars amidst the ongoing Blackpink’s disband rumors. It was released through The Black Label and Atlantic Records on 18 October 2024.

The song, APT marks Rose’s first single in three years, and her first release since departing from YG Entertainment and Interscope Records as a solo artist in 2023. It went instantly viral on internet ,eventually winning M Countdown.  The song is a pop punk and pop track featuring vintage pop rock riffs, indie rock, and electro-pop influences. It is inspired by a South Korean drinking game called “Apartment”

Now, it is reported that the track has ranked first during the M! Countdown episode, making it Bruno Mars’ first-ever music show win.

M Countdown South Korean music program broadcast by Mnet from the CJ E&M Center Studio in Sangam-dong, Mapo District, Seoul. M Countdown airs live on domestic television at 6PM KST every Thursday. Live streaming is available internationally via the M Countdown On Air page on Mwave’s website.

To celebrate the M Countdown win , K-Pop singer took to her official Instagram account and penned a note stating, ‘congratulations @brunomars you made it.’ Yes, the Grammy Award winner included yet another feat to his list of achievements. To which American singer Bruno Mars replied with a heartfelt message. He also penned a gratitude note to his South Korean fans, traslated in English “Thank you so much to all the Korean fans!! I cried all morning because I won my first-ever Music Show. Thank you so much to Rose, who helped me win first place, and thank you for loving our ‘APT’ so much. Love, Bruno. Rose and American singer Bruno Mars’ APT is trending on social media like a wild fire.
