Kai Po Che is a 2013 Hindi film which is a sports drama, directed by Abhishek Kapoor under UTV Motion Pictures. Adapted from Chetan Bhagat’s 2008 novel The 3 Mistakes of my Life, the movie focuses on three friends who want to start their own sports shop and sports academy. Starring, Raj Kumar Rao, Amit Sadh, and Sushant Singh Rajput the movie portrays the issues of religious politics and communal hatred.


Lubber Pandhu


Lubber Pandhu is a 2024 Tamil Sports drama film. Directed by Tamizharasan Pachamuthu, the film stars Gethu Dinesh and Harish Kalyan in the lead roles. The story revolves around a young cricketer named Anbu who is denied to join the “Jolly Friends” team due to caste discrimination. The movie was a huge commercial success at the box office.

The 2018 Tamil sports drama Kanaa is the story of a young girl who aspires to become an international cricket player. The 2019 Hindi film The Zoya factor is a sports romantic drama directed by Abhishek Sharma. Based on Anuja Chauhan’s 2008 novel of the same name. Starring Dulquer Salmaan and Sonam Kapoor, The film follows the story of Zoya, an advertising executive, who finds herself driven into the spotlight as the Indian cricket team’s “lucky charm” after being born on the day of India’s 1983 World Cup victory.
