It Ends With Us: Blake Lively Files Lawsuit Against Co-Star. The conflict between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, her co-star on It Ends With Us, has progressed beyond online drama.
With Blake Lively suing her co-star for sexual harassment, what fans initially believed to be lighthearted internet drama between her and Justin Baldoni has taken a serious turn. The feud between the two has been termed the “It Ends With Us drama” by internet users, but as Lively files a lawsuit against Baldoni, the document allegedly provides fresh information regarding the heated circumstances on the set.
According to the paper, Lively’s husband Ryan Reynolds attended a “all hands” meeting with Wayfarer CEO Jamey Heath, Age of Adaline star Justin Baldoni, and other attendees. According to reports, it would “address the hostile work environment that had nearly derailed production of the film.”
Some of the actress’ demands were, “No more showing nude videos or images of women to Blake, no more mention of Baldoni’s alleged previous ‘pornography addiction,’ no more discussions about sexual conquests in front of Blake and others, no further mentions of cast and crew’s genitalia, no more inquiries about Blake’s weight, and no further mention of Blake’s dead father.”
The Gossip Girl star reportedly requested that an intimacy coordinator be “present at all times” during scenes involving Lively and Baldoni.
According to the complaint, Wayfarer and Jane the Virgin star launched a campaign of smears against Blake, referring to it as “social manipulation” with the intention of “destroying” her name. Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, refuted all of the accusations. He asserted that the Gossip Girl star was using the case to “fix her negative reputation.”
In a statement to the New York Times, Blake Lively spoke up about why she took this step. She said, “I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct.” She concluded that with this she hopes to help “protect others who may be targeted.”
