Oscars 2025: Anora wins five Oscars, complete list of winners

For the 2025 Oscars, Anora has won five Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Actress, best director, Best Screenplay, and Best Editing. According to the reports this film was made in very low budget and now whole world’s attention is on this film. This film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival last year and has become the fourth Palme d’or Winner to be named best picture.


Anora Plot:
Anora is a American Rom-Com drama film written and directed by Sean Baker. The film’s plot runs when a young woman, Anora from Brooklyn, gets her chance at a Cinderella story when she meets and marries the son of an oligarch. Once the news reaches Russia, her fairytale is threatened as her parents set out for New York to get the marriage annulled.

Anora’s Cast:
This film has wide range of talented actors including Mikey Madison who has won Best Actress For “Anora”, Mark Eydelshteyn, and the supporting cast includes Yura Borisov, Karren Karagulian, Vache Tovmasyan, and Aleksei Serebryakov. This film was made in 6 million dollar budget and collected almost 41 million dollars, becoming Baker’s highest-grossing film.
