Salman Khan’s fans wanted him to work with director Atlee to make another big-budget movie after Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, became a huge hit. The project has reportedly been shelved, despite the fact that it was gradually becoming a reality. However, it is uncertain what caused this terrible news.
According to a number of reports Salman Khan and Atlee would collaborate on an action-drama that also stars Rajinikanth or Kamal Haasan. But according to recent sources, their much awaited movie has been put on hold entirely. Atlee is now working on his next project alongside Allu Arjun.
Atlee teamed up with Varun Dhawan for Baby John after Jawan. The director in one of an interview gave a hint that Salman Khan might appear in his upcoming project.This news made the audience go crazy all over the internet. But now, as the new reports came the fans are extremely disappointed.
At the age of 25, Atlee started working as director S. Shankar’s assistant for the Hindi film 3 Idiots adaptation Nanban (2012) and Enthiran (2010). The audience and other media outlets responded overwhelmingly to his 2011 short film, Mugaputhagam. Raja Rani, a romantic comedy produced by A. R. Murugadoss, marked Atlee’s directorial debut in 2013. Arya, Jai, Nayanthara, Nazriya Nazim, and Sathyaraj were among its stars. It brought him the Best Debut Director award and made over ₹50 crores at the box office.
Atlee made his Hindi debut with the movie Jawan, Starring Shah Rukh Khan & Nayanthara. The film gained huge success and popularity among the Bollywood audience. Later, he did his next Hindi-directorial with Varun Dhawan in the lead role. It was a remake of his own Tamil film ‘Theri’.
