As expected, South Africa vs Afghanistan match was a thrilling entertainer. With top-order going berserk, South Africa put a mammoth 315 on the board. Ryan Rickelton’s century (103) and half centuries from Temba Bavuma (58), Rassie van der Dussen (52), and Aiden Markram (52) helped the Proteas to set a massive target. At one stage, it appeared South African batters would score 350, but Afghanistan bowled the last two overs well to restrict them.

Except for Mohammad Nabi, all other Afghani bowlers went expensive. 13 wides from them tell the pressure Proteas batters put them through. They have a tough task to chase with Kagiso Rabada and Keshav Maharaj at the other end.
