Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi starrer Amaran biographical action war film Amaran directed by Rajkumar Periasamy has hit the silver screens recently on October 31, coinciding with Diwali receiving highly positive reviews from critics and already breaking records in just 2 days of it’s worldwide release.

Kanguva producer KE Gnanavel Raja recently graced the film screening and has penned an emotional note on social media praising the film. The biographical action war film is bankrolled by Raaj Kamal Films International, together with Sony Pictures Films India. It is an adaptation of the book series India’s Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Military Heroes by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh, based on Major Mukund Varadarajan’s real life.

Furthermore, he praised actors Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi for their outstanding performances in the movie and congratulated Kamal Haasan and the rest of the co-producers for their hard work and dedication in bringing Amaran to life.

Amaran was theatrically released worldwide in the Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada languages on 31 October 2024 in theatres, coinciding with Diwali. Despite facing tough competition from Lucky Bhaskar, KA, Bhageera, Brother, and Bloody Beggar, the biographical action war film is dominating the Diwali box office.
