Ad Rates Surge on JioHostar for Champions Trophy 2025 Final

JioHotstar hit the jackpot. With team India qualifying for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final, ad rates witnesses a massive surge. JioHotstar seeks up to Rs 35 lakh per 10-second spot on TV for the India vs New Zealand ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Final on March 9, this Sunday. According to media buyers, this is a hefty charge. Still brands are okay with the slot, given the enormous viewership India vs New Zealand final amasses. The India vs Pakistan match also attracted huge viewership and drove advertiser interest. The streaming platform aims at close to Rs 850 crore in ad revenue from the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

India will face New Zealand in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 at Dubai International Stadium. Since the final is played on a Sunday, the new collab of Jio and Hotstar expects a massive viewership and wants to take full advantage of it. The semifinal between India and Australia attracted a record viewership of 66.9 Cr and the final is expected to surpass the number. Close to 60.9 people streamed the India vs Pakistan match on the platform last few weeks back.

After 25 years, India and New Zealand will face each other in the ICC Champions Trophy final. In 2000, both teams played the final, where New Zealand emerged victorious. In a nail-biting thrilling match, batting first, India put up a decent score of 264/6 in its 50 overs. Sourav Ganguly and Sachin Tendulkar formed a solid partnership, but the middle order failed to continue the momentum. However, team India started well while defending and dismissed the top order early. However, Chris Cains (102) and Chris Harris (46) chased the target with two balls to spare and handed a magnificent victory to their team. In the 20019 ODI World Cup semifinal, India lost to the Kiwis by 18 runs. The Men in Blue failed to chase 239 and lost the match. But India took the revenge in the 2023 ODI World Cup and won against the Black Caps by 70 runs.

Will India repeat the 2023 ODI World Cup final on Sunday, or the Kiwis look to avenge the loss?
