The renowned versatile actor of the film Industry turns 70 today on November 7th, 2024. Kamal Haasan is known for his impeccable performance and has gained an audience with his versatility in the movies. On this important day, the actor received a wonderful message from his daughter, actress Shruti Haasan. She uploaded a monochrome photo with her father on Instagram. The two are standing inside a gym, backs facing the camera. The actress has also penned a heartfelt note to her “appa”.

Taking her  Instagram account and X handle Shruti penned an emotional note. She expressed her happiness. It read, “Happy birthday appa. You’re a rare gem and walking by your side is one of my favourite things to do in life. I know you don’t believe in god, but you’ll always be his / her chosen child and I’m always so excited. To see all the magical things you do. To many many more birthdays and celebrating many more dreams come to life. Love you so much Pa.”

Kamal Haasan, a well-known actor in Indian cinema, has appeared in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Bengali movies. He began his career as a kid artist in the 1960 Tamil film ‘Kalathur Kannamma’. The actor made his breakthrough in 1975 with ‘Apoorva Raagangal’, and he went on to win accolades for memorable parts in ‘Moondram Pirai’, ‘Nayakan’, and ‘Indian’. He has won three National Film Awards, nine Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, four Nandi Awards, and major accolades like as the Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan, and the French Order of Arts and Letters (Chevalier).

Kamal most recently appeared in S. Shankar’s film ‘Indian 2’, where he played Senapathy, a vigilante against corruption. He will next be seen in ‘Indian 3’ and ‘Thug Life’.
