Sai Pallavi’s upcoming action drama Thandel is directed by Chandoo Mondeti from a story by Chandoo Mondeti and Karthik Theeda and i sbankrolled by Bunny Vasu under Geetha Arts banner. Akkineni and Sai Pallavi’s fans have been eagerly waiting for this movie release date since its announcement.

The Tollywood iconic duo was last seen together in 2019 musical romantic-drama film Love Story written and directed by Sekhar Kammula. Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi received critical appraise for their outstanding chemistry and screen presence in the action drama film. Now , they are reuniting for another romantic action drama Thandel , which is all set for it’s grand theatrical debut on February 7th, 2025 in multiple languages.

The upcoming thriller follows the life of a fisherman in Srikakulam who gets caught by the Pakistan forces in international waters. The term Thandel holds significance among the coastal communities across the country, denoting a revered title for a captain of a commercial marine fishing boat.

The action drama, Thandel is initially expected to release around Christmas or Sankranti, but now it has been reported that film’s release date has been rescheduled for February 7. However makers didn’t revealed reason for it.
