Chiyaan Vikram is one of the most celebrated South Indian actors who appears in Tamil films. He recently spoke about his upcoming film, ‘Veera Dheera Sooran,’ directed by SU Aryn Kumar. In a candid interaction, Vikram expressed his admiration towards the director of his film. He also revealed that he was looking forward to a film like Chithha rather than a film like Sethupathi from the director. Vikram’s co star SJ Suryah praised Vikram as ‘The Pride Of Tamil Cinema’ for this reason.
Vikram stated, ”When Arun narrated the story, the knot and the story were so gripping that I clapped when he finished it. Arun says he isn’t good at narrating his scripts, but that’s not true. Since then, I was really looking forward to working with him.”
Arun stated how Vikram was totally interested in the storyline after just 20 minutes of narration of the story. Arun expressed his excitement about how Vikram was so interested in the film. This was even before Vikram watched Arun’s critically acclaimed 2023 film, Chithha. In response, Vikram expressed his praises for Arun, stating that he was a fan of his debut film, Pannaiyarum Padminiyum, and his blockbuster film, Sethupathi.

SJ Suryah, the versatile actor who has been taking up challenging roles from a cop to psycho killer is a part of Vikram’s Veera Dheera Sooran’. He called Vikram, ‘The Pride of Tamil Cinema’ for the work Vikram has done so far. Vikram is not only a commercial star but also the actor who takes up challenging roles to tell many stories that can’t be done by other actors. His contribution to cinema is widely appreciated.
While Sethupathi was a commercial success in Vikram’s career. Vikram wanted a film that is a blend of emotional depth with commercial appeal, much like Chithha, which is a blend of all the elements in a film. He admired how Arun Kumar handled various complex and sensitive themes in Chithha. He did it without disturbance and explicit depictions, showcasing his skill in balancing storytelling with sensitivity. Vikram trusted that this approach would bring a fresh perspective to Veera Dheera Sooran.
Vikram also appreciated Arun Kumar’s transparent approach to filmmaking with honesty and politeness. Talking about the film, Vikram said that this film is made totally to the expectations of his fans with a blend of entertainment and required storyline.
