David Warner, the former Australian cricketer and present player in Sunrisers Hyderabad has faced issues with Air India Airlines. Yersterday on March 22nd he tweeted about his flight delay and the response from the the airlines is now trending on social media. The 38-year-old former cricket player claimed that when he got on an Air India flight, there were no pilots. He explained the delayed takeoff by pointing to the pilot’s absence.
On his official X handle, he has raised the complaint on Air India stating, “We’ve boarded a plane with no pilots and waiting on the plane for hours. Why would you board passengers knowing that you have no pilots for the flight?”

In the meantime, the airline authorities have responded to his tweet by saying, “Dear Mr. Warner, today’s challenging weather in Bengaluru caused diversions and delays across all airlines. The crew operating your flight was held up on an earlier assignment affected by these disruptions, which led to a delay in departure. We appreciate your patience and thank you for choosing to fly with us.”
This post went viral on the internet in few minutes after their conversation. Most people say this is a normal and classic response from the airlines as expected. One of the users said, “Classic airline response. You have not responded to the question he has raised. Why onboard people if you know there is a delay? It’s not like the flight is a mall where people can kill time. It is irritating, maybe the staff and crew should experience this for once.” Another user commented, “Standard message be it to a union minister, a celebrity or even a common man, Air India, you’ll never change.” This conversation between cricketers and airlines made a spark and most of them think this response will never change from the authorities.
