Sunday Box Office: Chhaava and The Diplomat Race Ahead

Sunday Box Office: On the last Sunday of March, the films running in theatres entertained the audience. Some films benefited from the holiday. Along with Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Chhava’ and John Abraham’s ‘The Diplomat,’ the new film ‘Tumko Meri Kasam,’ released this week, is also included in the race for box office collection. However, the initial performance of this film at the box office was very poor. There was a huge difference in the earnings of all three films. While ‘Chhaava’ has been released for more than a month and this film is still earning well, on the other hand, John’s ‘The Diplomat’ is moving at a slow pace. Tumko Meri Kasam

‘Tumko Meri Kasam’ was released in theaters on Friday, 21 March 2025. The film has many actors like Anupam Kher, Ishwak Singh, Adah Sharma, Esha Deol, Mehran Mazda, Sushant Singh, and Durgesh Kumar. Despite this, the film did not cast its spell on the audience. On the first day itself, the film’s earnings were limited to lakhs of rupees. The film collected only Rs 15 lakh on the first day. On the second day on Saturday, its collection jumped to Rs 26 lakh. On the third day, i.e., Sunday, the film earned Rs 25 lakh. Now its total earnings have become Rs 66 lakh.


Collection of ‘The Diplomat’

John Abraham’s film ‘The Diplomat’ was released on the occasion of Holi on March 14. After a week, the film has recovered its budget, and now it is moving towards earning profits at a slow pace. The film is also about to complete its second week. On Sunday, a jump was recorded in the film’s earnings. On the 10th day, the film earned Rs 2.75 crore. At the same time, the total collection of the film has now become Rs 25.65 crores.

Earnings of ‘Chhaava’

Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film ‘Chhava,’ starring stars like Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, and Akshay Khanna, was released on 14 February 2025. It has been more than a month since it was released in theatres. The film is still earning crores of rupees. On Sunday, i.e., yesterday, the film was in its 38th day at the box office. Yesterday, the film earned Rs 4.34 crore with a jump. At the same time, now the total earnings of the film have become Rs 583.35 crores.
