Mohanlal has reportedly created new records in Kerala on Day One. Mohanlal fans are celebrating that he has surpassed Vijay Leone at the Mollywood box office on Day One. It is said that Leo has crossed the ten crore mark of Empuraan. According to this calculation, the film has earned up to 15 crores in Mollywood alone. It is said that it is likely to earn more than fifty crores from Telugu, Tamil, and overseas together.

Actually, this range of collections on the first day can be said to be an industry record in Mollywood. Empuraan has already received positive talk on social media.
