Robinhood Vs Mad Square: The last Friday of March came with two big films, including Nithin’s Robinhood and the most awaited sequel, Mad Square. Released in theaters on 28th March 2025, faced tough competition from each other. Both having mainstream comedy makes them even more competitive. With a star cast and a compelling storyline, the recently released films have started their box office journey. Let’s take a look at the opening day collections of Robinhood and Mad Square.


Robinhood Day 1 Collections

Robinhood, directed by Venky Kudumula, stars Nithin and Sreelela in lead roles. The special attraction for the film would be Australian cricketer David Warner. Released on 28th March 2025, Robinhood just managed to collect Rs 2.3 crore on its opening day. The film, made with the massive budget of Rs 60 crores, only managed to collect 2 crores on its opening day.

Mad Square Day 1 Collections

Mad Square marks the direct sequel to MAD, released on 6 October 2023. The film directed by Kalyan Shankar features Narne Nithin, Sangeeth Shobhan, and Ram Nithin in lead roles. The film came with high expectations and opened with massive earnings. Mad Square collected Rs 20.8 crores on its first day at the box office. The story follows the continued adventure of MAD boys.


Robinhood vs. Mad Square

The box office battle has already begun between the two biggest releases of Tollywood. Mad Square and Robinhood are now in theaters entertaining fans. As we can see from the opening day collections, Mad Square is in the lead with massive collections of Rs 20.8 crore, whereas Nithin’s Robinhood only made Rs 2.3 crore, revealing the clear winner at the box office. Mad Square is way ahead in the box office battle, and the weekend collections are expected to be even more, giving tough competition to other releases.
