Ram Gopal Varma said about Rajinikanth, “I was talking about how technical aspects can affect the stardom of an actor. He could have been an actor, and he would have done a lot, but without the slow motion camera, I don’t think he could have become a superstar,”

Amitabh works in a realistic field
Director Ram Gopal Varma also talked about Amitabh Bachchan and said, “I always make films on important issues. I don’t try to work with a hero and heroine for a commercial or formula film. I worked with Amitabh Bachchan because he also works in a very realistic field. My job is to make psychological thrillers, character study films.” Ram Gopal Varma has worked with Amitabh Bachchan in the films ‘Aag’ and ‘Nihshabdh’.
