BTS moments of Kingdom teaser: Vijay Deverakonda is all set to return to the big screen with Kingdom directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and set to release on May 30, 2025. The film’s teaser released earlier this year, created a buzz with the unique addition of voiceovers by three top stars – Jr NTR for Telugu, Suriya for Tamil and Ranbir Kapoor for Hindi. Vijay recently shared how he managed to bring them all together.
In a chat , Vijay recalled how he requested Jr NTR for the voiceover. NTR immediately agreed and asked Vijay to come that very evening. “When we cut the teaser, we knew we wanted Jr NTR’s voice in it. I went and asked him, and he told me to do it that very evening.” Vijay explained that although the director was not in Chennai, NTR insisted, “You come, we both will do it.”
Vijay reached the studio an hour late, thinking NTR would be done by then. But to his surprise, “He was just warming up. He made me sit in the dubbing room and he was so excited. He kept asking for one more take and I had to tell him, ‘Anna it is enough.’” Vijay added, “I feel so special and loved.”
Talking about Ranbir Kapoor, Vijay said that he didn’t even have to ask him formally. Ranbir already knew about the plan through Sandeep Reddy Vanga who directed both Arjun Reddy and Animal. “Even before I asked RK, he said, ‘Of course I am doing your teaser man.’ I was like, ‘I didn’t even ask yet.’”
When it came to Suriya, Vijay mentioned he politely told him to feel free to say no. But Suriya quickly responded with a positive nod and agreed to do the voiceover without any delay. Talking about Suriya, Vijay shared, “I called Suriya anna and told him, ‘Please say no if you don’t want to do it.’ But he said, ‘Let’s do it.’ It happened too easily.”
Kingdom, produced by S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, also features Bhagyashri Borse and Satyadev. With these big names backing the teaser, fans are eagerly looking forward to the film’s release.
