Good Bad Ugly Box Office: Ajith Kumar’s latest film Good Bad Ugly has taken the Tamil film industry by storm. Released in 2025, the film has become one of the biggest blockbusters of the year so far. Within just four days, it has crossed many milestones and delivered exceptional box office numbers both in India and worldwide.
In the first four days, Good Bad Ugly has earned around ₹83 to ₹85 crore in India. The film had a strong Sunday, collecting about ₹19 to ₹19.5 crore, almost equal to Saturday’s earnings of ₹19.75 crore. These numbers show the consistent performance of the film at the box office.
On a global level, the movie is heading toward ₹150 crore and is already part of the 250 crore worldwide club, when combined with Ajith’s previous hit Vidaamuyarchi. Good Bad Ugly alone has made nearly ₹125 crore globally in just a few days.
Ajith Kumar has now surpassed his own record set by Vidaamuyarchi, which earned ₹81.58 crore in India during its full run. Surprisingly, Good Bad Ugly achieved this in just its first extended weekend, making it the second highest-grossing Tamil movie of 2025.
The film also became the highest first-weekend grosser for a Tamil film in 2025, beating Vidaamuyarchi’s ₹73.21 crore week-one record.
In just 96 hours, Good Bad Ugly achieved four significant records:
1. Biggest Opening Week for Tamil Film in 2025: It set a new benchmark by collecting over ₹83 crore in just the first four days.
2. Surpassed Most Profitable Tamil Film: The movie overtook Madha Gaja Raja (₹48.70 crore) to become one of the most profitable Tamil films of the year.
3. Two Films in Top 3: Ajith Kumar now holds two places in the top 3 highest-grossing Tamil films this year—Vidaamuyarchi and Good Bad Ugly.
4. Entry into 250 Crore Club: Combining global collections of both films Ajith now joins the prestigious 250 crore club.
The success of Good Bad Ugly once again proves Ajith Kumar’s massive popularity and loyal fan base. His star power and consistent performance at the box office continue to place him among the top stars of Tamil cinema.
As the film continues to perform well expectations are high that it may even surpass Dragon which currently holds the top spot with ₹102.46 crore in India.
